15 Marie-Curie PhD scholarships in IDS-FunMat (Europe)

In 2015, International Doctoral School in Fuctional Materials (IDS-FunMat) offers 15 Marie-Curie PhD scholarships in materials research, grouped into 6 topics. PhD projects are carried out in co-supervision between universities from two different countries (see list of partners). In all projects an industry partner is also involved. The PhD candidates must spend at least 6 months in each university. The projects start around October 2015 and take 3-4 years.

Postdoctoral Scientist – Therapeutic Interventions (Thalassaemia & Anaemia of Inflammation)

Position is open for a Postdoctoral Scientist to undertake the development and pre-clinical testing of novel therapeutic interventions aiming to i) prevent iron overload of non-transfusion dependent thalassaemia and ii) treat anaemia of inflammation. This post will form part of a team working on a new project funded by Pfizer as part of the Rare Disease Consortium in Oxford, UK (Department of Experimental Medicine, NDM, Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine).

Macedonian Government International Scholarships, Macedonia

Applications are invited for Macedonian government scholarships available for foreign students to pursue undergraduate studies for the academic 2015/2016 at the University of Information Science and Technology. The scholarships are available to outstanding students, not older than 22 years old. Successful applicants will sign a contract with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia.
