DAAD Humboldt Research Fellowships
Humboldt Research Fellowships for postdoctoral researchers are the instrument with which the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation enables highly-qualified scientists and scholars from abroad who are just embarking on their academic careers and who completed their doctorates less than four years ago1 to spend extended periods of research (6–24 months) in Germany. Scientists and scholars from all disciplines and countries may apply.

DAAD ‘Conflict Studies and Management Programme’ (CSMP)
The CSMP is a new programme implemented by the ‘Willy Brandt School of Public Policy’ in Erfurt (Brandt School) and the ‘German Academic Exchange Service’ (DAAD). It is addressed to Master’s students, doctoral students and senior researchers with an interest in conflict management in research and practise.

DAAD Postgraduate Courses for Professionals
Scholarships and grants for Pakistani students wishing to study in Germany are offered by different German Institutions. For example, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers scholarships for certain Master programmes as well as research grants. In addition, some German Universities offer a small number of scholarships for specific programmes.

DAAD Master’s Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance (PPGG)
This programme is designed to academically qualify future leaders in politics, law, economics and administration according to the principles of Good Governance and to prepare them in a praxis-oriented course for their professional life. The programme offers very good graduates with a first university degree the chance to obtain a Master’s degree in disciplines that are of special relevance for the social, political and economic development of their home country.

The oikos PhD Fellowship Programme
oikos Fellows develop entrepreneurial driven project management skills while at the same time building scientific expertise relying upon an excellent research platform at the University of St. Gallen, a leading European management school. They can also take advantage of the vast global network of oikos. Each Fellowship carries a 36-months-grant of CHF 108,000.
