PhD Fellowship in France

Split Phd and Post Doctoral Fellowship Programme in France

The Higher Education Commission and the French Embassy in Pakistan aim to help the development of cooperation between French and Pakistani scientific organisations, engaged in R&D programs of all the scientific and technology fields. In this framework, the Higher Education Commission and the French Embassy in Pakistan launch a joint program for research mobility. This fellowship program is intended for highly qualified Pakistani doctoral and postdoctoral scientists and offers them an excellent opportunity to do research in France for 6 to 9 months. Knowledge of French language is not necessary.

A complete dossier requires a tutoring agreement signed by a professor from the University of Bern. To obtain this, candidates are required to present their study programme or research project to a suitable professor at their host university (i.e., the University of Bern), together with their application for the above-mentioned agreement. ISID Small Grants Program

ISID Small Grants Program

The Small Grants Program is designed to fund pilot research projects by young investigators in developing countries. The goal is to support and foster the professional development of young individuals in the field of infectious diseases research by helping them to acquire additional skills and data to apply for other grants. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to investigations of the epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis or treatment of infectious diseases, the epidemiology and control of hospital-acquired infections, and modeling of cost effective interventions.

International Guest Scholarships 2012

International Guest Scholarships 2012

The scholarships provide successful applicants with the privilege of participating in the College’s annual Clinical Congress in October, with public recognition of their presence. They will receive gratis admission to selected postgraduate courses plus admission to all lectures, demonstrations, and exhibits, which are an integral part of the Clinical Congress. Assistance will be provided in arranging visits, following the Clinical Congress, to various clinics and universities of their choice.

European Master of Science, International Health Degree Programme

Call for Application 2011-2012
1st of October 2010 – 28th of November 2010 

Scholarships can be awarded to masters students selected by EMMC consortia who come from a Third Country (all countries of the world excepted the 27 EU Member States, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo under UNSC Resolution 1244/99, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia) and who are not residents nor have carried out their main activity (studies, work, etc …) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of these countries.
